It is a town in itself with all the shops like post office, general store, bakery, and pub of yesteryear. Many original buildings from the Miles town-ship have found a second home in the village like the old Australian Bank of Commerce and the Murilla Express Building. The museum is located within 300 meters of the motel and also contains the Information Centre, refreshments, pet friendly, and free parking.
